Are you passionate about hair and beauty and eager to build a rewarding career in the industry?

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic **Hair & Beauty Apprentice** to join our dynamic and client-focused salon team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside seasoned professionals, and develop your skills through both in-salon practice and formal training.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Assist stylists with shampooing, conditioning, colouring, and styling for a variety of hair types.
- Interact with clients by providing excellent service, from welcoming them to offering refreshments.
- Support senior hairdressers during styling or cutting sessions, under supervision.
- Help maintain salon cleanliness and organisation to ensure a professional environment.
- Book and manage client appointments using our scheduling system.
- Attend formal Aveda training sessions and learn to advise clients on suitable products.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and assist in monitoring daily expenditures.
- Stay updated on the latest hairdressing trends and best practices.

**Tools You'll Be Using**
- **Fresha** - for managing your appointments and client records
- **Payroller** - for logging hours and processing payroll

**What We're Looking For**

**Entry-Level Requirements**:

- No formal qualifications required.
- A strong passion for hairdressing and a willingness to learn is essential.
- Immediate availability is preferred.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Manual dexterity and confidence working with tools
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong time management and ability to work flexible hours
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- A proactive and helpful attitude
- Commitment to providing exceptional client care
- Well-groomed appearance and professional presentation

**Performance Goals**
- Deliver excellent service in cutting, colouring, and styling under supervision.
- Work collaboratively with stylists, makeup artists, and other creatives for special projects (e.g., events, shoots, campaigns).
- Uphold high standards in client care and salon hygiene.
- Show initiative in learning and improving technical and customer service skills.
