**The position**

**To be successful**

We are looking for committed Christians who are active in church fellowship to join our vibrant Christian community. It is expected that applicants will:

- Have a minimum qualification or qualification equivalent to or higher than a Cert IV, which must include competencies in:

- Mental health and making appropriate referrals, and
- Providing pastoral care, and/ or working with youth.
- Be committed to Christ and be able to demonstrate active church involvement
- Provide advice and support to students and parents as needed
- Assist with issues within the school network in regard to bullying, family breakdown, behavioural matters, illness etc.
- Assist students and families with emotional, behavioural, social and spiritual needs as required
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate an excellent professional and interpersonal relationship with students and families
- Possess a good level of computer and administration skills
- Provide a satisfactory Working with Children Check (WWCC) and complete Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse & Neglect in Education & care training or be willing to obtain.
