Role Overview
Job Description
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices to support a leading financial institution.
The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Terraform or Bicep.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Champion and build robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Collaborate with software and infrastructure teams to standardize platform tooling, observability, and deployment strategies.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and system configurations to improve reliability and efficiency.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and hands-on expertise in areas like infrastructure design, DevOps, and SRE practices.
Drive cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, and governance in a large-scale Azure environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
Proven hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services at scale.
Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills using Terraform or Bicep (preferably both).
Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices; experience with pipelines, release management, and automation.
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language: Python, .NET (C#), or TypeScript.
Understanding of containerization (Docker, AKS) and modern deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, etc.).
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in a regulated enterprise environment, ideally in financial services.
