The Genus Group have recently commenced works on "The Pilbara Generation Electrical Construction Project" and are seeking experienced Forepersons and Electrical Supervisors to join our team at the
**North Star Junction Solar Farm.**

At completion the NSJ Solar farm will be part of a network of Solar Farms providing Fortescue with a hybrid energy solution, enabling additional power to be delivered to their mine sites and support ongoing investment in renewable energy.

**The role on offer will include**:

- Providing daily support and guidance to improve Team performance.
- Supervising, monitoring, and evaluating personnel to ensure that all work is on schedule, to required quality and client specifications.
- Ensuring all workfronts are reported on and kept up to date and all changes are accounted for in a timely manner.
- Liaising with internal Project Teams, as well as external stakeholders, to achieve the Project performance goals.
- Motivated to meet pre-mobilisation requirements in a timely manner (Inductions, On
- Boarding documents etc.)
- Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical + Return a Negative Drug Screen
- Commit to a 3:1 Roster with 7 full days RNR
- Strong work ethic, time management skills
- Safety focused & Physically Fit
- Previous FIFO Experience

**Essential Requirements**:

- Trade Qualifications in Electrotechnology, Electrical Instrumentation or relevant similar field.
- Valid, unrestricted WA Electrical Workers License.
- Qualifications in Construction Leadership and Supervision (Section 26 and WHS Statutory Responsibilities for Mining)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in supervisory position with a strong trade background
- Valid Driver's License - "C" Class
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety, and familiarity with Australian industry regulations, applicable codes, best practice and performance standards.
- Proficient in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Strong people management skills
- High level planning and organisational skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Construction Induction White Card
- Current First Aid, CPR & LVR Certificates

**Desirable**:

- HR Licence
- Operate and Maintain 4WD Training
- FMG Inducted
- Previous Solar Farm Experience
- Qualifications or training in people management
