Novotel Surfers Paradise also has dedicated Conference & Events facilities catering for up to 500 guests.About the job...We are looking for an experienced and influential industry leader as Food & Beverage Manager to join Novotel Surfers Paradise.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing operational Food and Beverage teams.
Reporting to our General Manager, you will collaborate with the Leadership Team to deliver successes for the Hotel with particular focus on the Food & Beverage departments.Your ability to effectively collaborate with the team, your entrepreneurial approach, your passion of food and beverage and guest experience, and your ability to generate revenue will all play a significant part in how successful you will be in this position.What you'll be doing:Providing your departments strategic direction, monitoring performance, and managing teams well.Ensuring the daily operations of food and beverage outlets, conferences, and events run smoothly, profitably, and efficiently.Providing direction and assistance to the food and beverage operational teams.Delivering on our Accor Live Limitless loyalty promiseMaintaining operational systems, promoting best practise processes and procedures, as well as finding new and creative methods to conduct business.Ability to coach, develop and influence the team to enhance the overall food and beverage profitability and performanceProviding direction and support to align departmental goals with overall Hotel strategiesDelivering on the Novotel brand promise in all interactionsWork with our leadership team to develop strategies and execute effectively across multiple operational departmentsKey attributes:Fostering an environment of care, collaboration and trustWilling to work alongside the team to achieve operational excellenceAn obsessive eye for detail, ensuring that the Hotel's food and beverage outlets and events are always presented at the highest level possibleConsistently demonstrate great financial performance resultsLeading with a solution-focused and upbeat attitudeDisplaying high levels of honesty and respect for all.What does it take to lead our Food & Beverage Business?
A strong knowledge of the industry and its trends, as well as a passion for hospitality and service, especially in a busy bar/restaurant atmosphere.Proven track record of coaching, inspiring, and managing sizable teams of casual employees and fostering a good culture in a world-class service environment.The capacity to draw in customers, team member development and training, performance management.The capacity to analyse operations continuously and propose innovations and modifications where necessary to ensure that we keep enhancing both operations and service.A dedication to the guest experience and a track record of building and maintaining connections with internal and external stakeholdersA keen business sense, a commitment to maximising profits while preserving yield, and a drive to provide outstanding guest experiencesYou have experience with Micros Symphony, Order Up, Ready Workforce, Purchase plus and Microsoft Suite.WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?
