If you want to be part of a company with momentum, this is the place to be.About the RoleWe're looking for a talented Web Developer to join the team building our public website infrastructure.
You'll engage in the development and ongoing optimisation of our marketing sites (AU and US), currently built on WordPress, and help shape the future direction of our webstack.
You'll be working alongside a team of developers both on-shore and offshore.ResponsibilitiesDrive development of pay.com.au and payrewards.com websites, built on WordPressCollaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to bring campaigns, landing pages, and content to lifeWork with our onshore & offshore development teamOptimise site speed, security, SEO performance, and responsiveness across devicesMake architectural and tooling contributions (e.g. plugins, theme structure, hosting, performance monitoring)Collaborate to improve documentation, workflows, version control, and deployment processesBuild custom components and integrations as needed (e.g. forms, APIs, lead flows)Ensure our web properties are reliable, extensible, and aligned with brand and business goalsAbout You5+ years of web development experience, with strong WordPress skills (custom themes, PHP, Gutenberg, performance optimisation)Proven experience making architectural decisions across modern web stacksComfortable working in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environmentAble to manage and mentor offshore developers while maintaining high-quality deliveryFamiliar with Git-based workflows, staging environments, and performance best practicesA problem-solver who balances speed and long-term scalability in their workWhy Join UsHelp shape the web experience for a high-growth fintech expanding globallyWork across both brand and performance-driven initiativesCollaborate with a smart, ambitious team who value autonomy and ownershipEnjoy flexible work, a casual team environment, and great coffee (on us) when you're in the Melbourne officeSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesFinancial Services and TechnologyInformation and Media
