**About the role**

McIlwain are seeking an Environmental Advisor who will be responsible for providing input and advice to the project and the business on all environmental issues.

**Duties**
- Implement environmental monitoring programs and undertake weekly environmental inspections.
- Assist Environmental Manager in preparing Environmental Monthly Reports and other tasks as they arise.
- Review of internal environmental procedures, instructions, and systems to ensure information is current and up to date.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of environmental legislation, regulations and industry practices and ensure that statutory requirements are not breached
- Undertake incident reporting, analysis, and investigation for environmental incidents, near misses or non-conformances

**Skills and experience**
- Bachelor of Environmental Science/Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years' experience as an Environmental Advisor or similar role.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good computer literacy, including competent use of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to prioritise and schedule work.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
