**Underwriter - Club Marine***

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Working closely with a team of Underwriters and Member Service Specialists to source and underwrite profitable new business opportunities from business partners.
- Executing effective new business strategies whilst leveraging renewals to further develop relationships with our key business partners.
- Working effectively with the broader Underwriting Team to develop Club Marine's capabilities and foster a collegiate underwriting culture.
- Monitoring performance to ensure key financial indicators are achieved, namely GWP, Profit and Pricing control measures.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within Branch and other Club Marine divisions.

**Important to your success**:

- Passion or knowledge for Boating
- Knowledge of the Australian insurance market, industry practices and governing legislation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to both build relationships and influence at all levels.
- A strategic thinker with an analytical mindset and the ability to problem solve.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal which allows exceptional negotiation and influencing capabilities.
- Sound data analysis skills which will allow you to understand the portfolio performance and gain insights for improvement
