The Sales Advisors, New Business role entails supporting the sales team in attaining the monthly as well as annual targets through RFQ support. Taking direct customer new business enquiries and network new business enquiries. Following up on new business quotes and ensuring this information is captured with the company CRM system. The Sales Advisor, New Business is instrumental in assuring focused and productive communication with the new clients. The Sales Advisor resolves all complex inquiries from the clients and ensures customer satisfaction. The Sales Advisor is responsible for different kinds of administrative functions essential for everyday operation of the system and fulfillment of the company offers.
**As a Sales Advisor you will be responsible for**:
- Supporting the sales team in attaining sales targets.
- Preparing monthly, weekly, or daily sales analysis.
- Preparing proposals, agreements, sales reports, and presentations.
- Creation of quotations and updating to Client Rates in CargoWise.
- Supporting implementation, in line with company blueprint
- Collecting, analysing, evaluating, and accounting the information to increase productivity of sales.
- Monitoring the trends and evaluating the performance and provide feedback to the sales team on improving quote turnaround times and presentability.
- Respond to new business spot quotes requests as required.
- Following up on spot quotes and ensuring the CRM system is updated.
- To be responsible for accurate and timely issue of quotations.
- Initial qualification of sales leads and distribution of leads to sales personnel.
- Requires use of CRM and EDI Cargowise as well as MS Office software products.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations and responses.
- Assists Sales Team in preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
**About you**
- At least 2-3 years' experience in sales coordination/advisor, pricing desk or internal sales
- Experience with software solutions and large, complex organisations.
- CW1 experience preferred
- Knowledge in all aspects of global logistics and sales processes
- Strong understanding of customer requirements and market dynamics
