To assist in the co-ordination at the branch of all yard related activities, including handing over and receiving all truck, attachment and ancillary equipment to and from the branch, including associated paperwork, additional yard/workshop duties and assisting with spare parts as required.
- Operating forklift
- Handover of/receiving of all trucks, attachments and ancillary equipment transported from/to the branch within the requested timelines informing the relevant LMH personnel of the arrangements.
- Maintain the yard and warehouse areas in a clean, tidy and organised manner in line with standards at all times.
- Ensure the wash bay is kept clean and the drain/triple interceptor is operational at all times.
- Ensure that approved scrapped forklifts, batteries and attachments are managed and prepared for scrapping in accordance with company guidelines.
- Charging and watering of all stock batteries located on premises in accordance with the company battery maintenance regime.
- Assist the spare parts department as required with order processing, inventory management, location and movement of stock control
- Always comply with company policy and procedures.
- Support workshop leadership team and carry out additional tasks as required.
- Any other duties as required.
- Implement risk control measures.
- Obey all health and safety procedures.
- Report any workplace hazards, injury, illness, or near misses.
- Identify self-development strategies and follow through the development strategy put in place by management.
- Actively seek and participate in all relevant training.
