Executive Director, Technical Services

As Executive Director, Technical Services, you'll lead a multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed team to deliver a diverse portfolio of complex mining, petroleum, and gas projects across Queensland.
This includes abandoned mine remediation and recommercialisation programs, as well as management of state-owned non-commercial water assets.Reporting to the Deputy Director-General of the Georesources division, you will provide strategic and tactical advice to government and ministerial staff on sensitive issues.
You will collaborate across the public sector and industry to drive positive outcomes for Queenslanders.With a strong focus on project management, economic feasibility, and commercial probity, you will play a critical role in ensuring public safety through the effective management of Queensland's abandoned mines program, while fostering economically attractive investment opportunities that benefit all Queenslanders.
