**The Opportunity**

BlueScope Distribution is looking for a **Storeperson**to join the** day shift**based in **Kewdale**. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. **What Will You Do?**

You will be responsible for receiving and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, and dispatch duties, you will also:

- safely load and unload trucks
- operate forklifts and other machine processing equipment including learning to drive trucks (onsite only) and magnetic cranes
- pick and pack from stock on-site to create specific orders
- be responsible for the safety of yourself and your co-workers
- ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your service levels

**More About You**

As someone who enjoys working in a physically active role and as part of a team, you will bring:

- forklift licence with proven experience in bulk products
- gantry crane experience preferred but training can be provided
- truck driver licence and experience in driving in a warehouse preferred
- effective communication skills, a can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- ability to think on your feet providing safe and workable solutions
- a commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others
