Casual Early Childhood Teacher (Degree) role at Careers at Council – Ku-ring-gai Council. Location: East Lindfield, New South Wales.
About the Role
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll play a vital role in shaping the learning journey of our preschool children. You'll lead a play-based, inclusive, and engaging curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the community. Reporting to the Director - Thomas Carlyle Children\u2019s Centre, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and implement high-quality educational programs
Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
Collaborate with a team of passionate educators
Maintain open communication with families and support children's individual learning and development
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, frameworks, and regulations
Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Bachelor of Teaching/Education in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
NESA Teacher Accreditation
Identify and report children and young people at risk - CHCPRT025
Current First Aid, Child Protection and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates (HLTAID004) (HLTAID012)
Current Working with Children clearance number
Experience working with children aged 0–5 years
Experience using the Early Years Learning Framework and current best practice models to plan, implement, and evaluate programs
A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude with effective conflict resolution abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate professionally with families and build strong partnerships
Supervisory skills and the ability to develop, support, and mentor a team
