The Role:
We are looking for a Store Manager to join us at our Merrell Fountain Gate store to lead, inspire, and coach a team of passionate sales associates, including support from your Assistant Store Manager. This opportunity involves working collaboratively with your Area Manager to drive sales in a fast-paced, high-turnover outlet environment.
The role & responsibilities:
Ensure efficient operation of your store to achieve sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage
Motivate your team to achieve KPIs and added value targets across the store
Monitor store sales closely to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets—acknowledging outstanding results and identifying missed opportunities
Manage wage costs effectively, adhering to weekly wage targets and rostering standards
Coach and mentor your team to maintain high morale and support their development through training and succession planning
Ensure efficient OH&S management, complying with state and national legislation

To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 1 year of retail store management experience in a fast-paced environment
A motivated and driven 'Make it Happen' attitude
A passion for leading and inspiring teams to succeed
Strategic thinking to identify missed opportunities and a proven track record in driving sales and KPIs
Operational excellence in stock control and visual merchandising
Experience managing rosters and wage control
