**Tell me more about the role**

There are big things happening across the public transport network in Perth, WA including the implementation of the Metronet which is a series of both infrastructure and station upgrades across the city.

Working for the Public Transport Authority (PTA) who are the primary supplier of public transport services across Perth, this role sits within a division called the Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery Division (OMTID) on the Metronet projects.

**We're seeking a Engineering Assurance Manager**

In this role you'll be our technical / discipline lead responsible for the management and oversight of the assurance and certification processes for all systems engineering aspects of project works during operational handover.

This includes but is not limited to RAMS, configuration management, requirements management and technical interface management; the role is critical in ensuring the planning, design, testing and commissioning of PTA infrastructure is compliant in meeting operational reliability.

We'll align your knowledge of systems engineering implementation working on major projects across a range of multidisciplinary areas to support us in managing, overseeing and providing assurance of contractor works. We will also pull on your expertise, technical specialist advice and direction to support the project team and help develop future plans & strategies.

**About you**

It's key that you have a relevant engineering degree as well as a strong background in systems engineering, RAMS and requirement management systems.

We're looking for experience at all stages in the verification and validation, testing and commissioning of systems to verify and validate requirements (FAT, FIT, SAT, SIT, etc).

Considerable ability and experience in project and contract management. Is key along with knowledge of, and preferably experience of using requirement management systems.

Major project experience / exposure is also key.

Our client is Public Transport Authority (PTA). PTA are the primary supplier of public transport services across Perth, WA including Rail, bus and ferry services in the metropolitan are (Transperth), public transport services in regional centres (TransRegional) and coach and rail passenger services to regional areas (Transwa). They're also responsible for designing, building and maintaining transport infrastructure and protecting the long-term viability of the States freight rail corridor and infrastructure.

In short the PTA is a big deal. They have a range of opportunities becoming available to work within the Office of Major Transport Division (OMTID). The division is responsible for delivering the high value and high complexity major transport projects.
