
Maintenance Planner

We are currently recruiting an experienced engineer or trade qualified Maintenance Planner to join our team of over 30 qualified tradespeople, working at our Port Botany location.
Reporting to the Site Maintenance Manager you will have proven experience developing, deploying and maintaining the site's maintenance plan to ensure activities such as, planned preventative maintenance, planned corrective maintenance, breakdowns, planned shuts and plant improvements are in line with the overall maintenance strategy, while optimising the use of resources to improve reliability. This critical role is key to supporting the Maintenance Manager and Site Operations teams to improve the site's preventative maintenance and reliability programs that minimise plant down time.
This is a full-time position with working Monday to Friday and is based at our Port Botany site. This position has room for growth within our business.
**Key duties & responsibilities will include**:
- Plan maintenance activities and provide support to the Operational Support crews, higher duties trades and technical specialists in facilitating the effective and efficient maintenance across the site.
- Design, coordinate and allocate monthly, weekly and daily maintenance plans.
- Provide technical and professional support to facilitate accurate maintenance data and outcomes.
- Work with procurement and operations to organise and plan parts and plant availability required for individual jobs.
- Liaise with Purchasing and Stores to ensure adequate and timely supply of tools and parts.
- Lead Health and Safety improvement initiatives
**Experience & requirements**:
- Commitment to Health, Safety & Environmental improvement
- Highly developed communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment
- Computer literate along with strong project management skills
- Experience using CMMS is essential, preferably using Maximo
- Strong MS Excel knowledge and experience is essential
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Mechanical/Electrical engineering or trade qualifications preferred
- Strong commitment and desire to learn and achieve
- Ability to lead and motivate others
