Marian Catholic College Kenthurst is seeking a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Religious Education teacher to cover a secondment for the whole of Term 4, 2025.
This opportunity is ideal for an enthusiastic educator eager to engage students in Religious Education.
The role is open to both experienced teachers and new graduates looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

As a Religious Education Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging lessons that cater to the learning needs of all students Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment Provide appropriate notice and feedback on assessment tasks in line with College requirements Maintain accurate records of student achievement Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies to support student learning Work collaboratively within the College community to set high, achievable goals for yourself and your students About You: To excel in this rewarding role, you should align with the core values of Marian Catholic College and possess: Current qualifications and experience teaching Religious Education, or be a new graduate with approval to teach Strong ICT skills with the ability and willingness to integrate technology into teaching where relevant Strong communication and organisational skills ensuring reporting deadlines are met Ability to motivate students and foster a love of learning Flexibility to differentiate learning activities and assessment techniques to support a wide range of learners Willingness to be an active part of the Marian community Qualifications and Accreditations: To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following accreditation requirements: Hold either conditional or unconditional approval as a Category D Religious Education teacher with Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta, or Be teaching Religious Education subjects but not yet have applied for accreditation (i.e., new graduates or teachers in the process of applying for accreditation are encouraged to apply) Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation – Working with Children Check clearance Relevant tertiary qualification About Us: Marian Catholic College Kenthurst is a caring community with a family atmosphere linking parents, students, and staff.
