Test Lead

**About the Role**

As the Data Program Test Lead, you are responsible for implementing and executing Great Southern Bank's Test Strategy in the delivery of your assigned Program and Initiatives. You will provide expertise and execute the implementation of testing strategies for the program including critical activities such as test planning, stakeholder management, reporting, test automation, test resource management and risk/ issue management.

You will coordinate the management of the test team's deliverables to ensure objectives are met and in alignment with program schedules, quality standards and budget for assigned resources.

You will drive continual improvement of the testing methodology, test tools, processes, approaches and techniques.

Working with key internal and external stakeholders, you will provide accurate test estimates, manage the defect management process and tools ensuring the quality of items raised and adherence to the defined defect lifecycle, as well as actively participating in the testing forums for new suggestions and should be skilled with planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting.

**About you**
- 5+ years of experience as a Test Manager/Lead involving complex integration projects preferably within the financial sector.
- 10+ years' experience of Testing within software development projects at Test Analyst and Senior Test Analyst level.
- Experience with Leading the Testing for an AWS Cloud solution implementation Program (Highly desired).
- Experience with Leading the Testing for an Enterprise Data Transformation Program (Highly desired).
- Experience of directly managing Test Teams with a variety of resources from various test disciplines via both onshore and offshore models.
- Excellent leadership skills and communication skills, with the ability to produce high quality written documentation.
- Extensive experience in developing Test Strategies, Test Plans, and other related test documentation.
- Extensive experience across multiple software development methodologies and the SDLC.
- Experience managing Vendors and driving accountability for quality.
- Experience planning, managing and coordinating business UAT.
- Extensive experience in managing resources across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Outstanding facilitation and negotiation skills.
- Strong vendor relationship skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive able to work to clearly defined and structured plans, or plan and organise own workload, to achieve tight deadlines.
- Able to assimilate information quickly, and present findings in a concise and meaningful way.
- Degree in relevant discipline.
- Formal training or certification in software testing, or software quality assurance
- Experience in Financial and or Retail Banking sector
