**About the Role**

The General Hand position is responsible for providing vital support to wider Branch operations, overseeing all outbound and inbound deliveries of forklifts, attachments and ancillary equipment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Co-ordinate daily transport requirements to TMHA customer sites as well as meeting inter-branch delivery requirements; all according to scheduled delivery timeframes.
- Ensure inbound and outbound goods are despatched with the correct paperwork in line with TMHA's administration procedures.
- Unload containers of material handling equipment when deliveries arrive.
- Oversee the inbound delivery of batteries and attachments whilst maintaining accurate documentation.
- Put stock away in accordance with correct racking/storage locations.
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the workshop storage areas
- Assist with the forklift and attachment stock takes.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Relevant experience in a similar role and within a similar industry.
- Experience in Forklift operation with a current/valid forklift licence - desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive and takes initiative.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
