High Profile Federal Government Department Initial 6-12 month contract + extension options Rewarding hourly rates | Flexible work arrangements A dynamic Federal Government department is seeking multiple Procurement and Contracts Officer to provide contract management, procurement, recruitment, and coordination to the branch.
The successful Procurement and Contracts Officer will be offered an initial 6 month contract with the view to extended.
The successful Procurement and Contracts Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to: Manage recruitment activities for the Branch including non-ongoing and ongoing Manage procurement activities in accordance with PGPA Act 2013 using SAP for contractors and consultants as per the Request for Quote (RFQ) processes.
Lead, review and manage procurement activities in line with Commonwealth Procurement Framework.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful Procurement and Contracts Officer will have experience in the following: Demonstrated experience in a similar role and expertise and knowledge in procurement and recruitment.
Understanding of Government procurement frameworks is highly desirable Ability to manage competing priorities in a face paced environment Excellent interpersonal and liaison skills This is a rare opportunity with a leading Federal Government Agency to join an established and friendly team
