- Reporting to the **Workshop Supervisor,** the **Trade Assistant**will be working alongside our Tradespeople to assist with maintenance and minor repairs of equipment and machinery. Within in our **New Machines** department, the Trade Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to; cleaning of components, operation of moving components and light mechanical work where needed. Attention to detail and to work autonomously is a crucial part of the role.

**Location**: Guildford

**Roster**:5 Days, 2Off (Mon-Fri), 10.5H shifts (inclusive of a 30min Break)

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Proven experience of Trade Assistant work is essential
- Forklift License is essential with Dogging highly desired
- Caterpillar Dealership and engine overhaul experience - highly advantageous
- Good attitude with a strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's will guide you to success in this role
