Adelaide, South Australia Allied Express Full time

Allied Express Australia's largest independently owned courier, taxi truck and express freight company is currently looking for a highly motivated Casual PM Freight handler/Forklift Operator for our express freight operations based at Regency Park.

**This role will require the following**:

- Unloading of trucks, trailers & containers
- Freight scanning
- Palletising freight
- Shrink wrapping
- Data entry
- The role involves regular heavy lifting
- 2 person lifts are performed where required
- 16-20hrs per week with possibility of daily extensions, especially during peak Oct-Jan

**To be successful in this role previous experience and skills must include**:

- 6+ months freight handling experience
- Physically fit
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attitude towards safety and wellbeing
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Forklift license is essential
- Medical required
- Adhere to safe work practices and procedures
- Be prepared to perform Manual Handling Tasks - loading and unloading trucks.
- Covid vaccinations must be up to date
