About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated staff experienced in food services to bring joy to our resident's day.
As a Food Services Assistant your focus will be to deliver catering needs that meet nutritional and hydration needs, special requirements and preferences of our residents.
Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be: Perform basic food preparation tasks and cooking basic meals.
Prepare, present and serve / deliver food and refreshments, ensuring awareness of special needs for modified diets
Plate and present food in an appealing manner and to a high-quality visual standard according to individual requirements About you
You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care.
To be considered for these roles, you will need: Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards the completion.
Previous experience working in a food services environment and/or at an aged care facility
Patience; common sense and a strong ethos of client service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within a team and to work with minimum supervision
NDIS Worker Screening Check and completed NDIS workers Orientation Module Why VMCH?
