We are seeking an experienced Handyman / Store person to join our team to carry out day to day tasks in our warehouse/ factory.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you are a critical member of the Warehouse Team. Your day is spent assisting various people from the team from moving pallets, picking material, attending to deliveries and much more.

**A day on the job will see you**
- Carefully moving stock in a forklift, abiding by the safety requirements of the warehouse.
- Learning and understanding the various parts we produce, so that you can easily identify them to have ready for customer pickups and installations
- Receiving incoming freight and with your high attention to detail, ensuring that all items are delivered to spec.
- Delivering best practice standards of house-keeping, keeping things in order and parts in their rightful place.
- Getting involved in stock takes and stock rotation, when your Manager asks you for a hand.

The successful applicant will possess previous experience this area of work and must have a forklift license.

This role is a great opportunity for a person who is interested in pursuing a career in the specialist industry of solid surface and wanting to take on a full time role. We will provide further training and pay above award rates to the suitable applicant.

A key feature of the solid surface products we work with is Zero Silica. This means that the product does not contain any Crystalline Silica which can pose health risk when inhaled as dust, therefore SCF Interiors is a safer environment to work in.

**Salary**: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
