**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Promote HSE behaviour and ensure that HSE procedures are implemented by his commissioning team. Ensure that his team follows the Permit To Work procedure and conform to the safety instructions listed.
- Supervise witnessing of Precommissioning activities and onshore Commissioning activities for his discipline performed by EPC and ensure Project priorities and schedule are followed.
- Responsible for the execution of commissioning activities for his discipline
- Manage his Mechanical Commissioning Discipline Supervisors
- Liaise with Commissioning System Leaders

**Key Performance Metrics**:
**Onshore commissioning Preparation and Execution Phases**
- Review and comment commissioning engineering and vendor's documentation for his discipline (including FATs)
- Review the completions databases for their discipline
- Definition of manpower resources, means (spares, tools, consumables) and vendors for offshore commissioning execution for their discipline
- Participation in the offshore commissioning planning
- Supervise witnessing of Precommissioning activities for their discipline.
- Supervise witnessing of Onshore Commissioning activities for their discipline
- Supervise witnessing of preservation and maintenance activities for their discipline.
- Report and follow-up progress, man-hours and punch lists for his discipline
- Attend Factory Acceptance Tests as required.

**Professional experience**:

- Desired Engineering Degree and Technical qualification, with a minimum of 10 years sector experience and a minimum of 10 years Commissioning experience
- Good knowledge of systems and previous commissioning experience in the required sector
- Fluency in English
- Mining industry experience a plus.
