Overview
As the Digital Skills Learning Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping AIM's digital skills education.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Skills Programs, you'll lead the design and development of engaging, high-quality learning content across a range of tech-for-business subjects including Excel, Microsoft Copilot Pro, AI, data analytics, and programming.
This is a hands-on role where you'll collaborate with internal teams and external experts to create impactful learning experiences for business professionals.
You'll also contribute to AIM's broader digital product strategy and ensure our offerings remain innovative and industry-relevant.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and build of AIM's Digital Skills short courses (Face-to-Face and Live Online).
Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content tailored for adult learners.
Develop facilitator guides, workbooks, presentations, and upload materials to the myAIM platform.
Write original content and curate supplementary resources (videos, articles, reports, etc.).
Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models to enhance learning effectiveness.
Review and improve learning resources for quality and instructional impact.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning gaps and opportunities.
Maintain AIM's standards for quality, branding, and style.
Support continuous improvement in course development processes.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience designing learning content for adult learners.
Strong expertise in instructional design and current pedagogical theories.
Proven ability to manage and deliver learning projects.
Skilled in building relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
Advanced writing and research skills, especially for business-focused educational material.
Industry-standard training in instructional or learning design, educational technology, or similar.
Passionate about digital skills education and experienced in designing content in this domain.
Experience with learning technologies is a plus.
