**Description**:
About the role
We are currently seeking an Installation and Maintenance Assistant to join our dynamic team based at our branch in Dandenong.
With a focus on exceptional customer service, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintaining and installation of works associated with our site accommodation function within our Melbourne Hub Portables branch and out on the road at job sites.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**:
- In conjunction with the Branch Manager monitor reliability and equipment readiness for hire at branch level
- Preparation of portable buildings and toilets & basic maintenance of assets for hire
- Complete & check for accessories electrical test and tag of buildings prior to delivery
- Ensure OHS requirements are met
- Monitor customer damage and liaise to ensure revenue is captured
- Investigate incidents (in conjunction with other relevant personnel) in a timely manner and recommend relevant improvements.
Desired Skills and Experience
Current driver's license
- Forklift, EWP or OHS cards/licences not essential but are highly regarded
- A strong focus on safety and safe work practices;
- Ability to solve problems and make correct decisions;
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management and customers;
- Current driver's licence and White Card are essential;
- Forklift Licence and Safe Working at Heights Permit are desirable.
