We are committed to Thiess being a company and a culture where great people can excel and where they are developed and supported to reach their highest potential.About the Project Koolyanobbing is in the Shire of Yilgarn, Western Australia, 54 km north-northeast of the town of Southern Cross.Thiess, Yilgarn Iron Ore Project is a Brownfields mining operation that includes the sites of Koolyanobbing, Windarling and Parker Range.Thiess are currently seeking applications from experienced Dozer Operators to proudly represent our Production Mining Team.

In this role, you will:Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum outputComplying with Thiess' policies and proceduresResponding to instructions from Mining SupervisorEnsuring floor levels are maintainedMinimising dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerancesMaintain stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure flow in a safe and efficient mannerOperate, drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roadsSetting and maintain high housekeeping standardsCarrying out pre-start checksAbout youMinimum 3 years experience operating a Dozer in a production mining operationEquivalent or specific experience operating CAT D10Possess strong miningoperationalskills and be able to demonstrate your ability in maintaining pit floors and bunds in a mining production environmentSound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configurationValid Australian Drivers LicenseProven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all timesWhat Thiess can do for you2:1 roster (7D7N7RR) | FIFO Perth to Southern Cross plus a 30 minute bus ride to siteDIDO roster from surrounding townsSalary sacrifice options available for applicants outside WAPermanent full-time role with development and upskilling opportunitiesFull camp facilities providedRange of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail productsAbout UsWe partner with our clients to deliver excellence in open cut and underground mining in Australia, Asia and the Americas.
