Are you ready to pioneer safety and innovation at our brand-new Fulfilment Centre in Tarneit? As our 6-month fixed-term HSE Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of safety culture in the warehouse. Collaborating closely with the Southern Region safety team, you'll implement and enhance our HSE plan, ensuring compliance with Komatsu's Golden Rules and ISO 45001 Management System. From conducting audits and inspections to facilitating safety training sessions, you'll be at the forefront of fostering a secure and proactive environment. With the possibility of permanency on the horizon, this is your chance to make a lasting impact and grow with us as we embark on this exciting journey.

As our HSE Advisor, you'll lead by example, guiding our team in identifying safety improvements and implementing effective solutions. From mentoring workers on hazard identification to coordinating HSE training aligned with Komatsu's national strategic plan, you'll be instrumental in shaping our safety culture. **What we are looking for**:

- Minimum two (2) years' experience in workplace health and safety within manufacturing, mining, energy, or construction industries
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
- Ability to control, administer, and maintain Safety Management & Environmental systems
- Effective communication skills across all levels, including frontline leaders and teams
- Current Driver's License
- Consultative approach to implementing HSE policies and procedures
- Strong analytical skills for developing, assessing, and implementing solutions to risks and hazards
- Proficiency in developing clear, concise, and logical documentation including procedures and reports.
