Hepatology Nurse Specialist
We are seeking a skilled
Nurse Consultant
with expertise in hepatology to join our team.
This is a challenging and rewarding role for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care, leadership, and education.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in hepatology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Provide expert nursing advice and guidance on all aspects of hepatology care
Develop and implement policies and guidelines for nursing practice
Conduct education and research activities to enhance clinical practice
Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing staff
Develop and implement policy, guide practice development, and engage in education and research activities
Act as a role model and provide nursing care on a regular basis
Requirements
Registered with Authority to Practice with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Minimum five years full-time post-graduate experience in hepatology
Approved postgraduate qualification or evidence of working towards Masters level qualification
Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework
Effective communication and interpersonal skills across a variety of mediums
Understanding of the practice development framework
