OverviewBP Aratula Truckstop is seeking a driven and results-oriented Store Manager for our site in Aratula, QLD.This store is located 45mins from Ipswich.
No Public Transport is available to this location.Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Store Manager will achieve sales targets by motivating, inspiring and guiding a team to drive sales by enhancing the customer service experience.
Our business has a full commercial kitchen, barista style coffee and retail shop floor.
The successful applicant will be focused on achieving and exceeding store and personal sales targets, primarily through Key Performance Indicators.The selection process will include multi-stage interviews, National Police Check, possible medical checks, and reference checking.
For your application to be considered, please ensure that you include a cover letter in addition to your resume.ResponsibilitiesDrive sales growth, achieve sales targets and meet other Key Performance IndicatorsInspire and motivate team members while leading by exampleRecruit and train staff new team membersWork closely with HR for any workplace management requirementsEnsure the store complies with all WHS/HSSE requirementsFacilitate efficient and successful operations of all aspects of the store; including stock control and ordering, managing costs of goods, and completing daily, weekly and monthly financial reportingResolve day-to-day inefficiencies and other issues in relation to customer serviceWork closely with the Operations Manager to achieve store budgets through planned, efficient rostering and other cost control methodsAbility to use Microsoft Office suite of productsMaintain our strong commitment to food safety standards in line with our food safety planQualificationsBe available to work weekends when required and be willing to undertake regular hands-on operational workHave a proven record of successfully leading a team, delivering results and achieving sales targets whilst maintaining exceptional store standardsIdeally have at least 4 years management experience from either Pub, Club, Retail or Multi-Format StoresDemonstrated experience in a similar role with a customer service focusHave outstanding computer skills such as Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook SkillsStrong written and verbal communications applicable across multiple layers of the organisationExperience in managing a large kitchen / restaurant businessAbility to work with stock control and ensure food safety standardsApplication processNational Police CheckPossible medical checksReference checkingCover letter required in addition to resume
