Cleaning Supervisor

**WHAT WE NEED?**

Challenger is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and results driven full time Cleaning Supervisor to join our team, overseeing our cleaning operation at a local Shopping Centre in Sunnybank. Experience in overseeing a cleaning team is a prerequisite for this role. In this hands-on largely autonomous role, you will be encouraged to take pride in your work and be committed to delivering exceptional standards and working to a high level of safety, all based on our award-winning standards and our client's needs.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO?**
- Contributing to the positive experience of patrons and the local community
- Leading your team by example so that site cleaning activities can be completed to the highest standards, within the framework of set schedules and targets.
- Being hands on with required duties, coordinating work and setting a positive example of leadership and responsibility for your team.
- Coach, monitor and guide team members in operational requirements so they can achieve their best.
- Liaise with the client to ensure any issues raised can be addressed in a calm and professional manner, in line with Challenger policies and procedures.
- Attend to administrative duties including rosters and timesheets, recording of incidents, conducting toolbox talks, QA reporting, stock monitoring and record keeping.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED?**

To be considered for this role, you will need:

- Proven experience in a similar role as a site cleaning supervisor.
- Previous experience in effectively coaching, mentoring and leading a team.
- Previous experience working in a role that requires an ability to prioritise your work.
- Proven experience working to a schedule, delivering high standards and timelines.
- Solid understanding of WHS obligations and safe work practices associated with manual handling, chemical handling and usage.
- A solid knowledge of correct cleaning techniques and the correct use of common cleaning equipment.
