**The opportunity**:
**Human Resource Business Partner, ANZ (6 Months Contract)**

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting directly to the Head of HR & Education, ANZ, you will support strategic people initiatives for Sephora Australia & New Zealand.

Working effectively with the ANZ HR Team and the HR centers of excellence (COE) within the regional HR team, you will ensure the needs of your stakeholders are met and that the COEs understand your business challenges.

**Strategic Human Capital Management**:

- Support the development of human capital strategies and people programs for a high
- growth market
- Participate in organization design and review and deploy programs and initiatives to enable growth strategies
- Support change management practices to support the growth objectives of the country

Business Partnering
- Establish collaborative and trusting personal relationship with key stakeholders, anticipating business needs and implement appropriate initiatives
- Working with the people leaders to build organization and people capabilities, improving workforce profile to increase efficiencies for long term business growth
- Support and facilitate talent development
- Building collaborative relationships and synergies with the Regional HR teams.

**Performance Management**:

- Support the Annual Performance Review and Annual Salary Review & Promotion cycles.
- Support the business to ensure timely submissions including appropriate justifications for promotion recommendations.
- Provide guidance & training to Managers on managing performance issues at all levels, including performance coaching and Performance Improvement Plans, and providing support with employee exits when necessary.

Talent
- Support the Head of HR & Education in the facilitation of regular execution of talent reviews.
- Support business stakeholders on employee onboarding, development, learning and separations.
- Engage business leaders, HR and Finance in the creation and tracking of short & long term manpower plans and budgets.
- Participate & collaborate with the Talent COE during hiring of critical/strategic positions.

Learning & Development
- Perform learning needs analysis through consultation with the business leaders.
- Support the deployment of all regional HR talent and learning programs.
- Monitor and establish KPIs for learning
- Deliver presentations or employee training when necessary.

Purpose & Culture
- Support and collaborate on the rollout of our Sephora Purpose and Values to position Sephora as an employer of choice by positioning us thoughtfully with regards to DE&I.
- Work with the business to deploy employee-centricity and team engagement programs to drive performance and create a winning culture and an internal love mark

Ethics & Compliance
- Ensure policies and processes are in-line with local labor laws and Group policies.
- Ensure HR activities are carried out in accordance with policies - including employee and industrial relations.
- Ensure best practices for ethics & compliance are implemented and propagated across different locations.

HR Operations
- Develop and prepare reports and presentations when necessary

**We would love to hear from you if you have...**
- A degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or any other relevant field & experience with a minimum of 7years of experience in a HR role with hands-on operational experience
- Relevant Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing and/or Ecommerce industry experience will be beneficial.
- Demonstrates initiative, innovation and drive for results with an end in mind.
- Strong communication skills, handles difficult situations with diplomacy and tact and uses indirect influence to build consensus and support.
- Dedication to teamwork with all team members and stakeholders across functions.
- A proven track record in developing compelling presentations and garnering insights from excel spreadsheets with an eye for detail.
