About the Role
- The Head of Legal Services provides and coordinates legal advice and legal services across Metro South Health (MSH). The position will Manage, supervise, develop and mentor legal practitioners / lawyer in MSH Legal Services, and provide medico-legal education and other training to staff across the health service.
- Reporting directly to the Executive Director Governance, the Head of Legal Services for MSH will deliver legal services for the Health Service Chief Executive and health service Executives and is the professional and operational lead for legal practitioners across MSH.
- The position is responsible for all allocated FTE and labour and non-labour budget and managing and delivering services within the allocated budget.
