**Role Description/Criteria**

St Raphael's Primary School offers a progressive, comprehensive and engaging education using a personalised approach to learning and teaching.

We seek a teacher who has a deep understanding of current pedagogical practice, has an excellent understanding of the Victorian curriculum and can analyse and use data to inform their teaching practice.school prides itself on collaboration and collegiality between staff and team members, and the successful applicant must be prepared to work on a daily basis in shared flexible learning spaces as one of our Year 5/6 homeroom teachers.

Our school's Gospel values of Trust, Honesty, Acceptance and Hope underpin our everyday interactions with all children, parents and staff members in our school community and applicants must be prepared to support the Catholic ethos and values of the school.

We seek a flexible, self-motivated and hard-working teacher who will work closely with colleagues to achieve the best student outcomes for the children in our care.

**Special Requirements**:

- Applicants must have a recognised teaching qualification.
- Applicants must have valid VIT registration.
- demonstrate an understanding and work in a manner that supports the Catholic ethos and traditions of the school.
- maintain a commitment to child safety in keeping with our Child Safe Policy and Child Safe Code of Conduct (these can be accessed via our school website).
- maintain an ongoing commitment to professional learning in relevant areas of work.
- demonstrate active participation in activities that help progress our School Improvement Plan.
