Join Our Team as a Dietitian – Nourishing Health, Transforming Lives. Dietitians assess, plan, and implement individualized nutrition care to support patient recovery, manage chronic conditions, and improve overall health. Help communities eat well and live healthier lives.
What You'll Be Doing
The Senior Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing quality dietitian services to patients/clients of the SNSW Local Health District to meet health and wellbeing needs.
Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA).
Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Extensive broad generalist knowledge, clinical proficiency, ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboration as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/caseload across a regional area.
Commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
Ability to lead planning and evaluation of team activities.
Ability to provide and coordinate staff and student supervision.
Current unrestricted drivers' licence and ability to travel as required (may involve long distances).
