We are currently looking for super awesome humans to join our coaching team.
You could be the one we're looking for

**GeckoSports is a national franchise with various sport and fitness programs available for kids aged 5 to 12 years old. Our programs are fun, inclusive and engage kids in a range of sports and fitness activities.**

We are recruiting casual sport coaches for various hours and roles:

- Structured school Multi-sports (golf, volleyball, frisbee, hockey, softball, baseball, lacrosse) usually 4-6 weekly programs during school hours
- After-school multi-sports (2:30pm-5:30pm weekly during school term)
- Vacation centre incursions (during school holidays)
- Weekend sports birthday parties

Minimum 2 hours per week, up to 25 hours per week at various times throughout the year.

**What We're Looking For**
- Have you worked, or are you currently working with kids?
- Are you outgoing, passionate, enthusiastic, enjoy working with and motivating children?
- Have a love for sport & fitness and being outdoors?
- Are you physically fit and energetic?
- Are you reliable and can demonstrate responsibility, but love acting like a big kid?
- Do you have a car and are willing to travel around South East Melbourne?
- Are you a parent or University student studying teaching or Sports Science wanting flexible hours during the day?

**Coaches Needed at: Knox/Dandenong Ranges Region and Surrounding Suburbs, Bayside Area and Surrounding Suburbs**

All training will be provided, any experience below are highly regarded:

- Previous Coaching Experience
- PE teachers looking for something different
- Working with Children
- Any specialised coaches with Coaching Level accreditation in Athletics and Gymnastics

Valid WWCC - Employee

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $39.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wantirna VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- working with children aged 3-12 (preferred): 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (Paid) (required) (preferred)
- Covid vaccination certificate (required) (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
