**About The Role**:
**Southern Pacific Sands** are Queensland's leading material supplier of quality silica sand products operating within the construction industry. Over the last 25 years they have established themselves as a reputable and successful wholesaler supplier providing timely and excellent services.

SPS have participated in many projects over the years, from supplying quality sands to Golf Courses and Sports Fields, to full scale Infrastructure and Bio Retention projects.

**The Opportunity**:
Due to increased growth, SPS are now looking to welcome an experienced
**Dredge Operator** to help produce their quality sand products at their plant based in
**Ningi**. You will be responsible for;
- Operating the dredge efficiently and effectively
- Maximizing production whilst maintaining a safe work environment
- Carrying out duties in line with OH&S standards
- Maintaining the clean and well maintenance standard of the vessels
- Working productively in an autonomous environment
- Effectively communicating with other members of the team

**About You**:

- Experience working as a Dredge Operator on small to medium-sized Cutter Suction Dredges
- You are highly motivated, production-focused, and willing to be involved in all aspects of the dredging operations
- Strong communication skills
- Have the drive to take pride in the vessel you'll work with
- Previous experience in operating excavators is highly regarded
