Keen on a 3-day weekend, every weekend.We're on the lookout for physically fit, mechanically minded individuals to join a leading manufacturer of garage door systems in Somersby.
Based in a brand-new, purpose-built facility just off the Gosford freeway exit, this company assembles and distributes high-quality garage door opening/closing systems for both residential and commercial use.
With full training provided and real opportunities to grow, this is a great chance to build a long-term career in manufacturing.
What's on Offer:
4-day work week – Monday to Thursday.
10-hour shifts: 6:00am – 4:00pm.
Enjoy a 3-day weekend, every week.
On-the-job training + pay increases as you learn.
Supportive team and modern working environment.
The Role: You'll start in the Sub-Assembly area, quality testing and building small electrical boards.
Once confident, you'll rotate through:
Gearbox/Motor Assembly – using tools to build and assemble components from diagrams.
Motor QA & Assembly – assembling and testing product performance.
Final Assembly – combining parts, connecting wires, and preparing for dispatch.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar assembly role, within a manufacturing setting.
A strong mechanical aptitude.
Comfortable with the repetitive nature of the work.
Ability to step into a leadership role.
