**About Bluestone**

Bluestone Mines Tasmania Joint Venture Pty Ltd, is Australia's largest Tin producer. Bluestone is a well-established, high yield tin producer with a strong resource base supporting a mine life in excess of 10 years. The Renison mine is located on Tasmania's beautiful West Coast between the towns of Zeehan and Rosebery.

**About the mine**

**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced production driller to join the underground team to perform production drilling according to design plan while ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements and Company Safety, Health and Environmental standards and procedures in the Underground Operation.

The roster is offered on 7 days on, 7 days off rotating shift.

**Core responsibilities**

Experience in underground hard rock mines operating Epiroc Simba drill rigs or similar.
- Ensure production mining is conducted using the site safety procedures and according to mining plans.
- Supporting your supervisor being proactive and well planned with regards to site setups.
- Proven experience with uphole, downhole, slot drilling and all other aspects of production drilling.
- Accurately recording work completed, hazards requiring attention & machinery condition
- Liaising with mine production and engineering personnel
- Experience with charging and troubleshooting production charging activities.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in the mining industry as a Production Driller with extensive knowledge of UG mining practices & procedures. You will have an excellent attitude with good time management & organisational skills and the ability to perform work within a fast-paced dynamic environment.
