**Local Health Services Australia is looking for a dedicated, compassionate individual to join our team of Support Workers in New castle NSW. If you are a support worker passionate to help and understand that life is hard for everyone including people with disability. We are all in it together so we are looking for people able to support our own local people with disability**

As a Support Worker you will be working as a companion to our NDIS participants performing tasks such as assisting with daily personal activities and community participation for a Mental Health Client

Within your role you will promote dignity, respect and choice and support our NDIS participants to live their best life and you will ensure the client is at the centre of everything you do.

**What the role involves**:

- Daily Assistance / Cleaning
- Personal Care
- Community Access Transport
- Flexiable hours, mostly 2- 3 hours in morning / day and afternoons. You can do this as a source of extra income that helps you with current high cost of living.
- We will be able to work together with you to find you suitable shift that you are available for.

- Fortnightly pay - $33 - $34 per hr plus super

**What you will need?**
First Aid certificate

CPR Certificate

National Police Check

Car and insurance

Vaccination certificate
