**About the Role**:
We are looking for a caring and motivated **Therapy Assistant** with experience working with children to join our growing team. You will support allied health professionals (such as occupational therapists, speech pathologists, or physiotherapists) in delivering therapy programs designed to enhance a child's development, independence, and quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement therapy plans developed by allied health professionals
- Work directly with children in their homes, schools, or community settings
- Support children in building communication, motor, and daily living skills
- Record session notes and report progress to supervising therapists
- Collaborate with families and the broader support team
- Create a fun, supportive, and engaging environment for each child

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities
- Qualification or study in Allied Health Assistance, Education Support, Disability Support or related fields
- Understanding of child development and behaviour support techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence (if travel required)

**Desirable**:

- Experience supporting children with autism, Down syndrome, or developmental delays
- Experience working under NDIS or within therapy-based organisations

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 6 per week

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
