About the Role
This role would suit either an existing or aspiring laboratory assistant who enjoys working as part of a team to contribute to the production of high-quality work and ongoing patient care. Positioned in the Anatomical Pathology team, key responsibilities include specimen handling and data entry, laboratory investigations, MDM organisation, assisting Anatomical Pathologists, Senior staff and external and internal clients, and mortuary duties.

To be successful in this role you will have
Victorian Certificate of Education or equivalent. Desirable qualification includes certificate/diploma in laboratory techniques or similar.
Previous experience in a diagnostic pathology laboratory is highly advantageous
Experience in administration/clerical work, specifically data entry, is advantageous.
Ability to work in a fast-changing environment, both independently and in a team
High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills
