**About the opportunity**

As our **Retail Postage Sorter**, you'll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you'd expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

**Role details**:

- Casual Pay rate** $33.13 /**hour increases to **$35.42/** hour after approx. 3 months, + 12% Superannuation
- Casual Relief role covering Canberra GPO, Canberra Business Centre, Dickson, Belconnen Post Office, Belconnen Parcel Delivery Facility, Mitchell, Jamison & Canberra locations
- Casual relief role working 3 or 4 hour shifts between the hours of 3am-10am Monday to Friday

**You'll be**
- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace.
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes.
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.

**About you**
- You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously.
- You're motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community.
- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting.
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
