The communications function is being brought in-house, and a seasoned Communications Manager is sought for a part-time role (3 or 4 days per week, subject to experience).
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic communications plans to enhance the company's reputation and ensure consistent messaging internally and externally.
Manage all communications channels, create content, oversee media relations and support the organisation's goals through effective storytelling and brand positioning.
Foster strong relationships with business leaders and split time across external communications/PR (approximately 70%) and internal communications (approximately 30%), covering local and global brands.
Qualifications & Experience
Seasoned communications professional with strong PR and writing capability.
Experience in consumer durables, hardware or construction is preferred; candidates from a client-side environment will be considered.
Ability to quickly understand dynamics and culture; ensure the tone of all communications reflects the brand and a warm, family-friendly, non-hierarchical culture.
Able to work autonomously while remaining engaged with a large organisation; proactive in developing relationships across the business.
