We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker professionals to provide support to our client in Fitzgibbon QLD. A reminder that this role is casual and must be flexible to do any shift including active nights and can start immediately.

**Shift Schedule**: MOC 1:1 with Active Overnights - **Morning, Afternoon, and Night-Sleep Shifts Available.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Personal Care & Medication: Assist with hygiene, continence care, and medication adherence using positive reinforcement.
- Meal Preparation & Monitoring: Ensure meals align with the modified diet and supervise for safety.
- Compassionate Support: Provide care with empathy, patience, and respect, ensuring the client feels valued.
- Independence & Engagement: Encourage skill-building activities while promoting autonomy where possible.
- Health Monitoring & Documentation: Observe physical and emotional well-being, promptly report concerns, and maintain accurate records

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in supporting clients with Huntington's disease, schizophrenia, or similar conditions
- Minimum nationally accredited completion of Certificate III in relevant Disability or Community Service field
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Employee Working with Children Check
- A valid Australian driver's license with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
