**Product Specialist - Emergency Lighting**:

Join us as Product Specialist-Emergency Lighting in Electrification Business Area and will be based in Moorebank, Sydney Australia where you will be supporting the Product Manager to optimize the offering portfolio and returning on investment. Ensuring ABB has a full understanding of market requirements Ina specific area and can transform these requirements into offering specifications and development activities. Performing various offering life cycle activities supporting development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Following and understanding global or assigned area standards, market,and customer requirements and their impact on the offering portfolio.
- You will be responsible for one Australian based customer and one NZ based customer.
- Managing the technical specification of product assigned and supporting the Product
- Manager in developing the business case for offering developments, maintenance, and cost reduction.
- Collecting and analyzing standards, market requirements, customer needs and values as an input for producing a product roadmap.
- Maintaining and following annual cycle of activities to govern product management for assigned offering.
- Implementing the sustainability strategy for the global offering portfolio, taking the
- necessary steps to support ABB's commitment to circular economy.
- Developing Supply Chain, and Logistics to ensure customer satisfaction. Assisting with resolution of customer offering issues and may accompany internal partners to customer sites.
- Contributing to the definition of new offering technical characteristics by providing
- specific expertise.
- Contributing to the preparation of marketing tools to support the business and the Sales
- organizations.

**Your background**:

- A minimum of 2 years experience in a technical support role and/or background in Emergency Lighting products is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated sales and customer support experience is a must have.
- Knowledge of customer-service principles and practices including a demonstrated responsibility for and ownership of customer issues.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
- Automous worker and self starter.
- Exposure to Salesforce or knowledge of Electrification products/ and or Industry will be highly regarded.
