**Opportunity**:
WEM is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an **Apprentice Civil Labourer**to**join our dynamic team.

Through our partnership with a Registered Training Organisation, you'll undertake your apprenticeship, combining hands-on, practical experience with formal training to achieve your chosen qualification in civil construction.

Upon completing your Apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to progress your career in your preferred area of civil construction, including Plant Operations or Labouring.

We have a strong portfolio of work with multiple projects underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest, Hunter and Illawarra regions. This role requires travel to job sites across these regions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
We are seeking civil construction labourers to carry out a variety of manual labouring tasks on-site including:

- ** Preliminary Works**:**Assisting with site setup and preparation.
- ** Pavement Construction**: Laying and finishing pavements to specifications.
- ** Conduits & Subsoils**:**Installing conduits and subsoil drainage systems.
- ** Fencing**:**Installing and maintaining fencing around work sites.
- ** Drainage**:**Assisting with the installation and maintenance of drainage systems.
- ** Finishing Works**:**Completing final site finishing tasks.
- ** General Labouring**:**Supporting general site duties as needed.

**We Are Looking for Someone Who Has**:

- A keen interest in pursuing a career in civil construction
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team
- Physically capable of performing the role's duties
- A construction white card
- Valid Driver's Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites
- Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
