The projects I work on are city-shaping and always different." – Jason Keyte, Ground Engineering Team Lead, Auckland NZWe work with clients across the entire project life cycle — from initial planning studies through to final construction, operations, and maintenance services.Our expertise in planning, designing, and managing transportation and water infrastructure systems, as well as restoring and replacing older infrastructure, allows us to support the renewal and continued sustainability of these vital assets.At AECOM, you'll thrive in an inclusive and forward-thinking environment where your contributions are valued.Job DescriptionDue to ongoing growth and some exciting project wins, AECOM is seeking an Engineering Geologist to join our Sydney office.You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from a strong team of geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists, of all levels.How you'll make a difference:Contributing to desk studies, planning, and delivering ground investigations and preparing associated factual and interpretive reportingPerform field reconnaissance and geological mapping to identify hazards such as landslides, subsidence, soil liquefaction, or unstable slopes.Conduct geological and geotechnical site investigations, including soil, and rock.Develop geological models, cross-sections, and maps to support transportation design and constructionQualificationsThe following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
