Suncare Domestic Assistant/Cleaner - what's involved in the role?
We are currently seeking a Cleaner / Domestic Assistant to provide support to our customers in the
Brisbane area. This is a permanent part-time (minimum 40 hours per fortnight) position and shifts will typically be rostered between the hours of; 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility around shifts required.
The role of a Suncare Cleaner/Domestic Assistant actively supports the individual needs of aged and people with a disability who are living at home, either independently or with family. Examples of your duties could include assisting with cleaning the bathroom and toilet, vacuuming and mopping of floors, wiping kitchen surfaces and laundry duties, meal preparation, bed making and ironing.
About you
You will have experience in cleaning and experience engaging with members of the community. We want our customers to have a great experience with our people, and our people need to have a great attitude, be friendly, willing to learn new things, and most importantly listen and understand what the customer wants. We require flexibility to attend shifts with mínimal notice and have the ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision.
For this position, you will be required to be physically fit, hold an open Queensland Driver's licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured. A National Police Check, CPR and First Aid certificates are required in this position and require flexibility to attend shifts with mínimal notice and have the ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision.
